Elise and Evan married at Twenty & Creek in October 2025, and their day is everything we love about a Utah fall wedding. They said their vows in the Grand Hall with the doors thrown open to autumn color, sipped drinks in the back gardens, danced under the evening sky, and left in a glow of sparklers.
The whole day was captured by Ciaran Mae Photo and planned by Everson Events, two of Twenty & Creek’s preferred vendors. Here’s how it all came together.
Getting Ready in the Suites
The day started in our getting-ready suites, where Elise and Evan each had their own space to slow down before the big moment.

Evan’s suite, with its black marble, gold-framed art, and warm sconce lighting, made the perfect moody backdrop for a classic tux and a white rose boutonniere.

Upstairs in the bridal suite, Elise got ready alongside her bridesmaids and mother. These calm moments with loved ones are the ones you’ll remember forever.

A Grand Hall Ceremony Framed by Fall Color
Elise and Evan chose an indoor ceremony in the Grand Hall, but it never felt closed in.
We opened the doors wide, letting the gardens and their red and gold leaves become the backdrop while making room for every guest. It’s the best of both worlds: the comfort of indoors with all the color of an outdoor fall ceremony.

The room was framed with soft, afternoon light coming in through the bright window backdrop.

Their florals leaned into the season with deep burgundy sunflowers, dusty hydrangeas, Queen Anne’s lace, and cascading amaranth lining the aisle. Paired with natural wood chairs and herringbone floors, the whole room felt warm and effortlessly autumn.

Elise and Evan shared their heartfelt vows, and sealed the deal with a kiss. It was the perfect beginning to their celebration!

Cocktail Hour in the Back Gardens
After the ceremony, guests stepped straight out into the back gardens for cocktail hour.

Right outside the Grand Hall, guets wandered into the gardens. A grazing table stood as the centerpiece beside the rock-lined waterfall and pond. The front was dressed with sunflowers and trailing greenery.
The cocktail tables were elegantly set with olive linens, creating a relaxed atmosphere for guests to enjoy some time before the dinner. Soft green centerpieces added a pop of color to tie in the bright autumn tones.

Fall Portraits in the Front Gardens
While guests mingled, Elise and Evan slipped away to the front gardens for portraits with Ciaran Mae Photo. Tall evergreens, golden fall shrubs, and a classic white convertible made for timeless, editorial-style photos.
Elise’s long lace veil and Evan’s black tux fit the vintage feel perfectly.

Our front gardens are a favorite portrait spot in autumn. Having them on site means no travel, more time with your guests, and photos that feel like the season.
After the couple’s portraits were taken, the bridal party joined the group for a few photos. The bridesmaids were dressed in gorgeous, cool jewel tones, while the groomsmen kept it classic with black tuxedos.

It was the perfect balance of modern and traditional.

Dinner in the Grand Hall
For dinner, the Grand Hall was transformed from ceremony space to reception. White linens, wood chairs, and taper candles in glass hurricanes set a romantic tone, while the floral arrangements spilled across the fireplace mantel under the gold-framed mirror.

Elise and Evan opted to break tradition with a long, modern cake covered with piped details and fruits to match the tablescapes. It was truly one of a kind.

Parent Dances Under the Evening Sky
After dinner, everyone headed outside for Elise and Evan’s first dances with their parents, with DJ Mike McNall keeping the music going. Moving the dances outdoors let the whole crowd gather around in the cool October air, one of our favorite perks of a venue that flows between indoors and out.

The Napoleon Cake Performance
Then came the moment nobody saw coming. Evan’s groomsmen reappeared in chef’s coats, toque hats, and oversized fake mustaches to assemble the wedding cake live: a Napoleon cake by Caked By Chan, layered on the spot with piping bags of cream and fresh berries. Guests crowded the patio cheering, and Elise’s reaction says it all.

It’s the kind of personal, playful moment that makes a wedding feel like yours, and our team loves helping couples pull off surprises like this one.
After the cake was decorated, the bride joined the live band for a few special numbers.

A Sparkler Send-Off
To close the night, guests lined the front steps with sparklers as Elise and Evan made their exit hand in hand, the Grand Hall’s chandeliers glowing through the open doors behind them.

Congratulations to our happy couple! We loved being a part of your story.
